Our Mission

EPIS (Eden Prairie Islamic School) is dedicated to nurturing young hearts and minds through the teachings of the Quran and the example of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). At EPIS, our mission is to empower every student with the ability to read, understand, and memorize the Holy Quran, while developing a deep connection to its timeless guidance.

Our curriculum goes beyond simple recitation, emphasizing a detailed understanding of Arabic, Quranic meanings, and the rich context behind each verse. Students also delve into the Hadiths—the sayings and traditions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)—as well as the inspiring stories of his life and the lives of other prophets. Through these lessons, children and adults alike discover moral values, compassion, and practical guidance to help them succeed in today’s world.
